Today I finished packing up my fifth grade classroom... My new classroom is a complete disaster! Aaaack! Anyway, just as I was closing up my old room I noticed my student-teacher of the year award. It was the first thing up in my classroom and the last thing taken down. I hope it is happy in it's new room... :)

Alex came over today and played with the magnets on my refrigerator... He got all the right letters in his name but he is experimenting with the spelling. We are thinking that Xlea might be a nice name for the new baby. Any ideas on how to pronounce it? :)

Today my nephew Alex got here for a visit (with his mom and dad) and we have already started having fun! Today I brought over the little "pills" that are filled with foam bugs that dissolve in warm water. That is, we thought they were all bugs, one turned out to be a semi-truck... Alex had so much fun and was so excited he was shaking! I love that boy!

This morning my roommate and I had a summer kick-off breakfast! And it was actually morning when we had it! We had scrambled eggs with green peppers and asparagus, turkey bacon, strawberries and blueberries, and chocolate croissants... we made them ourselves! Oh, and coffee! It was a lovely morning! :)A Beautiful sunset... a sweet gift from my savior!
